So the countdown begins!

I don't know about anybody else but my kids are counting down the days til they start their Christmas break. They have 4 full days of school left and then they start their vacation. The only crazy thing is, is that I think they go back to school the day after the new year. What a short break!
There is so much to do at my house before Christmas and I feel like I will never get it done. I have the whole house decorated (pretty much from top to bottom). So that's one thing that is done. I do however have to finish putting away about 5 loads of laundry, washing a sink full of dishes,  drying two more loads of laundry and then folding them, vaccuming my whole house, and cleaning the rest of the bedrooms. Oh my god it's crazy.
I also made 3 batches of oreo balls and 6 different cookie doughs. Now all I need to do is bake the cookies. :)
I feel like I will never get any of this done by Christmas. Oh and did I mention I still haven't finished shopping and I didn't start wrapping! UGH

Dino Lingo in French

I recently watched this clip of Dino Lingo's French Learning for Kids. It's one of the best language learning programs I have come across. Me and my 7 year old son sat here and watched it together. We learned how to say cat, "chat" in french among other words and small phrases.
The Dino Lingo programs break down language learning for kids on screen by showing them pictures to go along with the word they are learning. It's very easy to catch on to and pick up. My son loves it. He learned a few words just by watching the 3:46 clip
If you'd like to check out the Dino Lingo website and check out the French Language section that I have been talking about, please click HERE. You will find their website very helpful and useful. You can watch clips as well as order online. So don't hesitate to do so. Head on over now!

Bath and Body Works Fall Mini Candle

Fall Mini Candle from Bath & Body Works.

I received a fall mini candle from Bath & Body Works in my Influenster Beauty Blogger Vox Box. I received a White Barn: Nutmeg & Spice scented candle. It smells amazing! It makes my whole room smell great & I don't even have to light it. I loved the scent so much I took my coupon I received from my voxbox and bought another White Barn Fall Scented Candle in Marshmallow Fireside. This one also smells amaaaazing!
Bath and Body works really outdid themselves with their new scents for their fall candles. They all smell so good. These smaller "mini" candles, may look small but the pack a whole lot of great scent into that "mini" candle. The mini candles are also great if you'd like to try out a scent. I really recommend trying the Nutmeg & Spice mini candle. It's one of my absolute favorites.
These candles are $3.50 a piece or 2 for $5.00!
So check out these candles online or at a Bath and Body Works near you!

**Disclaimer: I received the Fall Mini Candle from Bath & Body Works free of charge to test out and give my review on it. All opinions are honest and are my own.

Goody Spin Pins

In my Influenster #BloggerVoxBox was a pack of Goody Spin Pins. These are the greatest things created to make a perfect bun. I wish I had taken pictures to show everyone how well these worked. I used them in my daughters hair to create the perfect pigtail buns. Her hair is so thin I only needed one for each side. Why didn't they make these when I was younger?? Haha
The Goody Spin pins are easy to use but you have to be careful not to get them tangled in your hair. It will hurt if you do. If you get them caught please ask someone for help. They are easy to use once you get the hang of it. It did take me a few times but I did get it to work on my own hair. When I did my daughters hair I guess you could say I was a "pro" at it. It took me one shot to get them in and her hair in buns. I really like the idea of these and I plan on getting her some for stocking stuffers. They make the greatest stocking stuffers for tween girls.
Be creative and have fun with these. If you need more then one pack to create your look, then get them. I seen these at walmart near me for about 5 dollars or less. That is not a bad price at all.

Check Goody out on FacebookTwitter, & their Website

NYC New York Color Individual Eyes

Who here has ever tried to create a smokey eye and failed miserably like I have?? I haven't been able to create one for many years up until now. When I received my influenster Blogger #VoxBox I also received a NYC New York Color Individual Eyes Custom Compact for my eyes. This helped me create the perfect smokey eye for a perfect Ladies Night Out event with two of my best friends. This compact is labeled and lets you know where to put each color. Perfect for me! I love it. It was so helpful in creating a smokey eye that I am pretty sure anyone can do it. I am planning on buying a few of the other colors. I mean at about 4.99 per compact, it's pretty much a steal. It's like having a makeup artist sitting there with you showing you what to do! It is really a helpful compact. I wish all eyeshadows were just like this one.

Check them out on FacebookTwitter, or their Website!!

Boots No7

In my Influenster #BloggerVoxBox I received two bottles of Boots Beauty USA facial products. I received the cleansing lotion for normal/dry skin and I also received the night cream for normal to dry skin. I used the cleansing lotion in the morning before I started my day and the night cream (of course) at night before I went to bed. These two bottles have lasted me about 3 weeks now. I have just a little left. You don't need to put a lot on your face at all. You just use a small amount and work it in. I must say I have noticed a change in my skin. It has changed for the better. My face has less breakouts, (maybe because of the formula of the cream and cleanser), it feels more refreshed, less dry and soft! I really love how these two make my skin feel. I feel like my skin is glowing! It is a wonderful feeling. Boots Beauty has a lot of other products too. They make them for different skin types so I am sure you will be able to find one for you.

Boots No7 according to the website is a Range of hypo-allergenic and dermatologically tested products created using only trusted ingredients.
They say that British women have loved the affordable quality of the skin care and cosmetics for over 75 years!!! That is a long time. If British women have loved it, I am sure American women do too. I know I do. Boots No7 is the UK's #1 cosmetic and skin care brand. Must be a honor to be that!

So click on one of the links in this post and get yourself some Boots No7 cosmetics and skin care products!!!

Kiss Ever Pro Lashes

When I received my Beauty Blogger VoxBox from Influenster and seen these were in it, I will be honest and say that I was kind of iffy about trying them. I have had some bad experiences with false lashes before. I could never get them to stay on, and usually they were expensive so I just ended up throwing them away and wasting money. Well let me say these are very inexpensive (Suggested retail is 4.99) and they are so incredibly easy to apply. They even come with their own application tool! I mean what more could you ask for in a false eyelash kit. These really do have a pro 24 hour hold on them. I wore them to a Ladies Night Out event and received so many compliments on how full and pretty my eyelashes were. I don't even think anyone realized they were falsies because they are so natural looking. They even have other styles you can choose from so take your pick!
Did you see that these were made with 100% human hair? How many other brands can actually say that? They look and feel so real! Also the glue is latex free so you don't have to worry about that if you have a latex allergy.

Check out their website :

Or check them out at retailers like Walmart, Target, etc!

If you are looking for a great pair of falsies, well look no further!

My Influenster Beauty Blogger VoxBox

I was so excited when Influenster choose me to receive and test out a Beauty Blogger VoxBox. I absolutely love makeup (I'll have to show you pics in a later blog how HUUUGE my collection is) and anything fashion. Well I waited patiently for my box to arrive and when it did, it had so many goodies inside. I must say Influenster did not disappoint. Here is what was in it:

Ok so lets start with the Kinky Moves Curl Defining Hair Cream by Not Your Mother's Brand.
I must say this is one brand that I am familiar with and I love it. I have wavy/curly hair. This hair product does wonders for my curls. Let me show you two pics of my hair. First one will be my hair straight and second will be a pic with me using the "Kinky Moves"

I know these are definitely two different dates, but do you see the difference? It held my curls all night long. I went to a wedding (on the pic on the left) and with all the dancing I did and just having fun, the curls kept all night. This was the end of the night also, so you get to see how my curls were still there. It even made my hair look fuller and have volume. I love this curl defining cream because it has a great hold, without making my hair feel stiff or sticky. Thumbs up and A+ for this product!

Next up we have EBoost:

This is what the company has to say about it:
it’s better than energy.  It’s EBOOST.
Americans are busier than ever but we’ve relied on bad energy to keep up…until now.
EBOOST is a boost that does more.  It’s a mood boost, focus boost, immunity boost, natural boost, a no-crash boost.
EBOOST uses real ingredients, stuff you’ve heard of like Vitamin C, Vitamin D, Green Tea, Vitamin B-12 and Folic Acid.  And the stuff you might not have heard of:  Quercetin, 5-HTP, Resveratrol, Huperzine-A — it’s all good too.  What could be sweeter than that?  Well, we even sweeten our product with Stevia, a plant, not a chemical.
What started as a celebrity secret for A-Listers like Madonna, Shakira, Oprah Winfrey and Amar’e Stoudemire is now a necessity for the multi-tasking generation.  We took the time to formulate a multi-purpose product that really works so you don’t have to waste time with mediocre products that sort of work.
Get your boost with the convenience of a shot, or an easy-to-mix powder packet in four delicious flavors:  Super Berry, Orange, Pink Lemonade and Acai Pomegranate.  No matter how you boost, you’re sure to feel great.  All day, every day.

I was able to try Eboost Daily Health Booster in Orange. It was really good It was also easy to make. I grabbed a cup of ice cold water, added the packet, stirred it and drank. I really believe this worked for me. I began to notice I was more awake and alert almost immediately after drinking it. It lasted for a pretty good amount of the day. When it finally wore off there was no "crash" effect. I just felt normal. If you are looking for a "boost" go ahead and try EBoost. I highly recommend it.

Next thing that was in my box was Goody Spin Pins:

The Spin Pins help you achieve a bun in your hair without having to use a hair scrunchi or rubber band or anything like that. These were so easy to use too. At first I thought they were going to be complicated and I was thinking "Hmm maybe I don't want to attempt this," but it honestly went in my hair no problem and I was also able to get them out no problem also. I didn't get them stuck in my hair like I thought I would. I was able to us them in my hair even having such thin hair. I wear these alot now. My daughter even loves them. I wish I had taken a pic to show you. I will have to and put it in a seperate post just so you can see how great they look.

Well going further into my box of goodies, we next have The UK's #1 Beauty Brand (according to their website) No 7!

I have honestly never heard of this brand before. I was glad to get to discover something new. I was sent the cleansing lotion and the Night Cream. Hopefully I used these correctly. They both made my skin feel great. Nice and smooth. They were not harsh on my skin at all. I didn't break out after using these. I was afraid I might because I do have sensitive skin, but these were wonderful. They also were light weight.

The next thing that was in my box was NYC's Individual Eyes in the dark smokey eye pallet. Now I must say this is the greatest eyeshadow I have ever received. There's no more guessing on where to put the colors and how to create a smokey eye. The pallet is already labeled for you. I have never been able to create the smokey eye look until I received this. I am so glad I can finally achieve a great look without all the hardwork.  There are other pallets besides the dark smokey eye one. I think I am going to go out and buy some more. I really like these. Go ahead and give them a try.

The next thing in my box was a White Barn, Nutmeg & Spice  mini candle from Bath and Body Works. This candle smells amazing. It's a great fall scent.

Last but definitely not least is Kiss Ever Pro Lashes!

I tried other false eyelashes before and could never get them to go on or stay on. I swore I would never do false lashes again because of all the hassle behind them. When I received my box I looked at these and set these aside. I figured I would come back to them later and read up on them. I eventually picked up the box and opened it. I must say I regret not trying these out sooner. These were the easiest lashes to ever put on. They even have a little tool to help you. I wish they made these years ago. Hey but better late then never. I went out and bought a few more pairs already. I love the 04s. They are natural looking eyelashes. I recommend at least trying out this kit, to anyone who ever said they would never try false eyelashes for the same reason I said it.

To my conclusion, this was a great #VoxBox. I am so glad I was able to receive this and review it. I had so much fun, thanks to Influenster and all the brands who participated.

**Disclaimer: I received this Blogger VoxBox for free from Influenster in return for my honest opinion on the contents. All pictures and opinions are my own.

I hope you enjoy reading!

NYM Kinky Moves Curl Defining Cream

So let me start out by saying I have loved the Not Your Mother's Brand for awhile now. So you must know how ecstatic I was when I opened my Beauty Blogger VoxBox and found a sample of the Kinky Moves Curl Defining Cream. (You should probably ask my fiance because I couldn't stop talking about it) I love discovering new hair products. Even being a huge fan of NYM Brand I have never tried the curl defining cream because I can never find it in a store near me. They only have select products they carry. So I tried it out and I absolutely love it!! If you are looking in stores for it, it looks like this:

This product is my absolute favorite to use for my curls. I love the smell of it first of all. Does anyone else think it smells just like candy? I mean what a great scent! I could just eat it up (but I won't). The second thing I love about it is that it holds my curls without the "crunchiness" or that stiff feeling! My curls are bouncy, free, and fun. Honestly who would want their hair to "crunch?" This is definitely the product to get for free flowing curls.
The Not Your Mother's Brand is not expensive either. They run about $5.99 (or sometimes cheaper) at my local Walmart. I am pretty sure it's probably about the same everywhere.

Here are some of their other products:

Try on or try them all!!!

Also connect with the on FACEBOOK or TWITTER.
I am already connected and love it. They are always doing contests or posting neat photos!
Here is a link to their website:
Also here is a pic of my curls:

Now these are just "loose" curls but I can do tighter curls and they still look great! This hairstyle lasted me all night at a wedding I attended! So you know that after all the dancing and having fun, if my hair still looks this good, then this is a great product to have!

I urge you all to go out and give it a try if you have curly hair!

Note: I received a sample of NYM Kinky Moves Curl Defining Cream free of charge from Influenster for review. All opinions are my own and are true.

As the new week approaches us so does Hurricane Sandy also known as Frankenstorm. I live in Upstate NY where we normally have crazy weather. I think the might be the craziest weather heading towards us in a long time. I am used to the weather going from hot to cold and back to hot again. From snow to rain, to sleet, to it being warm and everything melting again. I can honestly say in all the years I have been alive I don't ever remember anyone telling us to prepare for a hurricane. I can prepare my self for a snow storm, but for a hurricane?? I am used to heavy rains and winds at times but nothing like this. I don't know how people do it every year during hurricane season. I give people a lot of props for that.
They are starting to close down schools around our city. None of ours have been cancelled as of yet. I am also guessing if it really does get as bad as they think, Halloween will be cancelled (or hopefully rescheduled?) Has this ever happened to anyone else? I know my kids would be devestated but at least they would be safe at home.
I am reading all these news articles about how the stores are running out of bread and bottled water. I am hoping everyone has enough, plus candles, batteries, handheld can opener, etc etc. Some people prepare, but don't remember some of the things they really need. I have 3 younger children (1,7, and 12 so ok not sooo much younger but still) and I need alot for them. If we were to lose power we lose the meat and milk in my fridge. My son drinks a lot of milk, it would get warm, but also we would have no way of heating it. I am just thinking of all the different situations we could be put in and I don't think you could ever really prepare to the fullest.
I am sorry if I just rambled on in this post. I am just a nervous mommy over here. Hoping everyone will be ok and have what they need.

So everyone please be safe if you are in the path of Frankenstorm!

Hope everyone is well.

Making Strides for Breast Cancer

This past Sunday (October 21, 2012) I walked my second "Making Strides for Breast Cancer" walk. I love doing stuff like this to help out. Every year I walk and help raise money for The American Cancer Society's Relay for Life, and Making Strides for Breast Cancer. These are two very good causes to help out with. We raise money to help with the research for cancer and what not. This year the Mohawk Valley, (New York) raise $236,000!
To see everyone come out and come together to help raise money and awareness is uplifting and just makes you feel good.

Really late review post for KLUTCH Club Box

I was kindly given the chance to review a KLUTCHclub box a few months back. (Yes I did say a few months back, because I am so late at posting this because of so much I had going on at the time with my step-father passing away and then his sister passing away, but besides that let's get back on track)

So KLUTCHclub gave me a chance to review one of their boxes a few months back. I must say they were a very great company to deal with. Great customer service!

So in a KLUTCHclub box you will receive over $50 worth of some of the greatest healthy products and services. All that is available for $18 a box per month!! Such a great deal. Here is how KLUTCHclub works:

(Picture taken right from their website)

So I received a May KLUTCHclub box. Here is what was in it:

  • Hydroxatone’s Instant Effect 90 Second Wrinkle Reducer will help your skin look radiant even after sun exposure.  This is THE product for all those pictures you’ll take to capture summer memories.  Forget Botox and try this one-of-a-kind $70 serum risk-free!
  • ONE coconut water will help you miraculously replenish electrolytes after those hot, summer workouts!   And you already know why everyone is going Coco for Coconut water!
  • Moving Comfort sports bras will keep you well-supported this summer during all of your athletic adventures.  Share the KLUTCH and give one of your gift cards to a friend.
  • Yoga Download classes make working out at your home, office or hotel room easy — perfect when you’re too busy or traveling this summer and can’t get to a yoga studio.
  • Think Thin bars help you snack intelligently, giving you a good source of portable protein and no refined sugar.  Try two different flavors to see which one you like best.
  • A KLUTCHclub water bottle will help you stay hydrated this summer — sure to become your new buddy for bike rides, hikes, or any other outdoor activities you’ve got planned for those dog days.
I used the hydroxatone's Instant Effect 90 Second wrinkle reducer under my eyes. At the age of 27, I feel that I never sleep and that I am starting to get wrinkle's under my eyes. The serum was gentle on my sensitive skin and it seemed to work pretty well under the eyes.

While going thru the box I noticed that there was ONE coconut water in there. I have never had coconut water before and was very skeptical about trying it out. I wanted to save that one for last. LOL I did eventually make my way to it. I must say I have been missing out all this time. I love water and the coconut water was amazing. I honestly don't know why I have never tried it before. I bring it with me while working out all the time now.

In my box was also a giftcard to put towards a sports bra. One for me and one for one of my friends. I do have to say I regret not being able to use it, but my friend said she did get the chance to order a sports bra for when she goes running, and that these are some of the best sports bras ever made. Keeps everything in place like it should. ;-)

The Yoga Downloadable classes were perfect for when you don't want to leave your house and go to a yoga class elsewhere. Very easy to download and use with ease. Great workout, especially when you can do it alone in your own home.

Next was the Think thin bars. Very delicious. I had to buy a whole box of them. They are some of the best protein bars I have ever tried. I couldn't decide which flavor I liked best. These are also great for diabetics like me because there is no refined sugar in them.

Last but not least a KLUTCHclub water bottle to carry around your "coconut water" (or just about anything) in. It's portable and comes in handy.

So after reviewing the KLUTCHclub May box, I must say this is one of the subscription boxes you will want coming to your house monthly. Head on over to and order your monthly box. Did you know that the have seperate boxes for men and women?? How great is that?

Remember over $50 worth of products for only $18 a month.

NOTE: I was given a KLUTCHclub box for free to test out and review. All opinions are my own. Pictures are taken from the KLUTCHclub website so I could show you how a box works, and what was in my May Box.

Thank you

Unjunk Your "Junk" Food

Since I am a Bzzagent I got asked to do a campaign for UNREAL candy. I glady accepted. This candy is great because you still get your "junk" food wix without all the "junk." They have No Artificials, Corn Syrup or Hydrogenated Oils. The taste of these candies are delicious. It taste like you are eating a regular Reese's Peanut Butter Cup, M&M's, Snickers, and Milky Way. I tried those four flavors. I also had my kids try them because I feel way better letting them eat these instead of all those junk candies that are bad for you.
If interested go try them out for yourself!

Note: I received coupons for FREE product thanks to being a BzzAgent with All opinions are my own.

Glade Expressions!

So I am a BzzAgent and I was asked to join the new Glade Expressions Campaign. I must day this is one of my favorite campaigns by far. I received some coupons in the mail from BzzAgent to go get my product and test them out. I choose to get the new Pineapple Mangosteen scent. (pictured above). I thought it was the most inviting, summery scent there was. All the scents were great but this was my all time favorite. I was having a party so I decided to make sure I cleaned my house and sprayed it down a few days before the party. Come the day of the party you could still smell the Pineapple Mangosteen. It was great. I didn't have to spray everything again. All my guests were asking about it and I even shared some of my coupons with my guests who really wanted to try them. I recommend this line to anyone and everyone. I especially recommend the Pineapple Mangosteen.

Note: I received coupons from for being a BzzAgent. All opinons and thoughts are my own.

Logan's First Camping Trip

This past weekend (08/17-08/20) we took our three kids camping at Verona Beach State Park, Verona Beach NY. We had a lot of fun. I have never been camping at this place before so when my aunt asked if we wanted to go with her we were all for it. It turned out to be a beautiful campground. It has a park, and a store right on the campgrounds. We were also not far from the lake. The kids used their imagination's and went on a "treasure hunt" to find One Eye Willy's burried treasure, they went swimming, played in sand, had campfires, told stories, played games, etc etc.

This camping trip was special because not only was it our first as a family alone, it was Logan's first camping trip ever. He is only 1 but he had so much fun. He loved being in the water. It was hard to get him out of it. He also loved rolling around in the sand. It was hilarious.

All in all it was a good trip. We had some quiet time with the kids, away from everything else. We did come home Saturday for a few hours to have a birthday party for the two oldest. But we went right back to camp that night and enjoyed our time together.

If you are ever looking for a place to camp in Upstate NY, check out Verona Park State Beach as one of your options.

"We Can Make A Difference"

My daughter is in a special education summer school program. Yesterday they had their end of the summer school concert. She overcame her fears and sang with two other girls in front of the whole summer school and their parents. She did great! She loves to sing.

She is the tall one in the middle!!

My Birthday!!!

So my birthday was yesterday, (it just ended a half hour ago) and I had a great day. I love spending time with my family! It was great because my oldest son came home from his dad's early to spend the day with me. My cousin DeVan came to visit, which isn't often anymore because his mom doesn't really allow him over. My 3 kids were all here and being really good for once. I got my nails done with my mom and sister. We had dinner and cake at my mom's for my brother's and my birthday. (He is 10 years younger, born on the 11th and me on the 12th). & my hubby treated me like a princess (which is pretty normal anyways. LoL)
So I just wanted to say it was an all around great day. I wanted to thank everyone who made it so great, and all my friends and family for wishing me a happy birthday!

The maid...

Lately around my house I feel like the maid. I clean and clean and get no appreciation for what I do. I will clean up one room, and think "yay one down, the rest of the house to go," and then try and start on another room, turn around and see someone has messed up what I started and I am back at square one. My kids are 1, 7, and 12. I would think the 12 yr old would be of a bigger help then anyone, but sometimes she seems to not do anything at all but make a mess and think I am going to come along and clean up after her. She seems to not care that it was cleaned before and then she makes a mess and leaves it. My one year old is always making huge messes, but he's my baby. I can't stop that. It's in baby's nature just to do it. My 7 year old does pretty good with helping me clean up, but I heard from his dad he throws a fit when it's time to clean up there. I just wish they would all help out once in awhile. I try and think of ways to make cleaning fun (even though I know there's not much fun in it for kids) but nothing seems to work. Also it seems like when my fiance trys to help me clean, he only helps for 2 seconds, and then I'm like you got this?, He says yea, so I go to take a break and then so does he. What gives????

Children and disobeying

This post is about my daughter (well step-daughter, but I see her as my daughter). She is 12 years old, very social, a great girl, but she has a problem. I don't know if maybe it's because she is just trying to rebel because she's a pre teen or because her mom left her a long time ago and she hasn't seen her for many years and she feels abandoned and unwanted and unloved, or it could be anything. She has adhd and she always seems to be in her own world. When you tell her something she barely pays attention or she just doesn't seem to want to follow the rules. She acts out in school, so she had to be put in a smaller classroom and special ed. She likes to take things without asking and then make up excuses, lies, or just plays like she has no idea what we are talking about. Last week she took a 50$, brand new necklace to school without asking. All she has to do is ask to borrow something and she's knows I would let her. But she decided to go behind my back, and go in my room and steal it. Now someone stole it out of her desk apprently. We don't know what to believe because she is always making up lies. We tried scaring her and telling her that the police were called and will be at the school tomorrow and her and whoever stole it from her will be in a lot of trouble. She just doesn't seem to care. I just don't know what to do anymore. Does anyone have any suggestions. I try and try, but nothing works. I just don't want to see her end up in jail if this continues. I just would like for her to be ok.

Burlington Coat Factory

Does anyone shop at Burlington? I absolutely love it. I think its a great place to shop, especially if you're on a budget. It has great prices for great value. I spent 180.00 today, but SAVED over 500$!!! I bought the kids some new school clothes, bought myself some shirts, my 1 year old new NUBY binkys (because that's the only kind he'll use), some onesies, my fiance new sneakers, and a few other things. It was well worth the trip especially since alot of the things I bought were on clearance for 6.98 or less!!! Oh I even bought my sister in law tons of things for her baby shower tomorrow! I am so excited to give it all to her. So if you have a Burlington near you, go check it out and see if they have any of the sales going on like they do here!

Nanny's Knee Surgery

So awhile ago my grandma was told that she was going to need both knees replaced. She has put this off for some time now. I think it was the fact that she was scared mixed with the fact that she would be out of work for a few months. She loves work and hasn't missed a day since she started.
Well anyways at 5:30 this morning she had to be at the hospital to get ready and prepped for surgery. She was only having one knee done at a time. By 7:30/8am she was in surgery. About two hours or so later she was out of surgery and in recovery. I haven't spoken to her yet or been able to go to see her. She was doing good my mom said but she is in a lot of pain. Everytime they give her pain meds she goes right back to sleep. So at least she is comfortable for awhile.
Well she will be in the hospital for the next few days, and then headed across the street to the Nursing Home affiliated with the hospital. What's also a plus is that my aunt works there so she can see her during the day. She'll have to be in rehab for the next couple weeks til she can come home.
I am just hoping for a speedy recovery and hoping she will feel much better now that she had at least one knee done. Her knees have been bothering her for years now and she kept putting it off. Hopefully if any of you need the same thing done you won't put it off. It just makes it worse.
I will try and keep this updated on my grandma.

Have a great night everyone.

Taking a break..

As of right now I am taking a break from cleaning my house. I have a 2 story, 4 bedroom house I rent. I have 3 kids (unless you want to count my fiance as one, then that would make 4). They are 1, 6, and 12. They love to make messes but not clean up. I am trying to figure out some sort of system or something to make chores more fun for the older two. I need some suggestions. I just don't want to be the only one cleaning up all the time. There is so much space and stuff in my house, it just takes forever to clean. I love cleaning but it also takes a lot of energy from me. I am diabetic, have diabetic neuropathy among other things so I am on disability. I can't sit or stand for a long time, so this also puts a toll on how much I can and can't clean. I am also looking for some good ideas for decorating my place a little different (once I get some money). If anyone has any suggestions for me please let me know. It would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Laptop is fixed and back!

So I finally received my own laptop back after having to wait awhile for it. I am so excited because I can finally do anything I want with my laptop. My mom wouldn't let me save things to hers or anything like that. But hey I understand since it wasn't mine. I need to catch up on my reviews. I have one for Klutch Club, EOS, and Nuture Me that I have to write up. I am a little behind but I have had so much going on in the last few months, with my step father passing away, my mom's house burning down and then being finished, etc etc I just havent been online much. Well I am back now and hopefully Ill be posting a few times a day. I can't wait. Well I hope people enjoy reading what I post and I obtain more followers.
